General Education Development (GED)

The tests of General Educational Development (GED) provide individuals lacking a high school credential opportunity to earn a State of Minnesota GED diploma. The four-test GED measures the academic competencies generally required of a Minnesota high school graduate.

For GED testing completed in Minnesota, visit the Minnesota Department of Education website to download the GED Records Request form.

GED Transcripts Completed in Locations other than Minnesota:

For GED testing not completed in Minnesota, request a copy of the official transcript by contacting the state GED Testing Administrator (or designee), in the state the GED test was taken.
