Policy 3.6: Curriculum Development and Approval
There are several ways in which curriculum may be developed or adapted, including changes to academic programs, new course development, and changes to current courses.
With insight from industry, the faculty carefully plans and develops curriculum to meet industry standards to align the program curricula to the master academic plan and college mission.
The faculty utilizes input from advisory committees and other relevant data to develop and review academic program curriculum changes in collaboration with the College Administration. Proposed curriculum changes, along with program proposals, are submitted to the Academic Affairs and Standards Council (AASC) for approval.
