Policy 2.8: Exempt Maximum Number of Credits

Policy Statement

The objective of this policy is to establish an enrollment policy for students taking courses at Anoka Technical College.



Purpose

The purpose of the Enrollment policy is to govern the maximum number of credits each student can take at Anoka Technical College and also providing an exemption option in special circumstances.



Students admitted to Anoka Technical College are allowed to register for a maximum of 22 credits each semester.  Non-degree/visiting students will be allowed to register for up to 9 credits before having to declare a major.  Any student seeking to increase their credit enrollment level in a semester should complete the Exempt Maximum Enrollment of Credits form with an advisor signature then return it to the Office of Records and Registration.
