Practical Nursing Program Granted Continuing Accreditation

Anoka Technical College’s Practical Nursing diploma program was recently granted continuing accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Board of Commissioners. The ACEN is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and ensures high quality nursing education across the country.

ACEN Accreditation for the Practical Nursing program qualifies students for scholarships from federal and state agencies and foundations, jobs in the practical nursing field and undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.

The next scheduled evaluation visit for re-accreditation is fall 2032.
