Anoka Tech Expands Program Offerings and Flexibility for Fall 2024
Starting this summer and fall, Anoka Technical College is adding new programs and expanded flexibility in some program delivery options.
Anoka Tech’s mission is to provide innovative career and technical education to help our students and communities live and learn well. The continued expansion of program offerings supports the college in meeting the needs of the local workforce and our students.
New Programs
Construction Estimating diploma
The new Construction Estimating diploma program expands on the certificate program and introduces students to industry-leading construction software Blubeam through Blubeam Revu.
“Blubeam is the key to correspondence in the construction world today,” shares Daniel Iund, Architectural Technology instructor, “introducing this software and material allows Anoka Tech to provide the advanced training needed in the industry today.”
Health Data Analytics certificate
Starting summer semester 2024, the advanced certificate in Health Data Analytics program expands the college’s long-standing portfolio of accredited programming in Health Information Management (HIM).
As the demand for highly skilled analysts in health care expands every year, Anoka Tech designed the 18-credit program with the working health information management professional in mind.
“The program is designed for professionals working in the health care field who are seeking to improve their analytics skills,” shares program instructor, Melissa Cartier, RHIA, CHDA, CCS-P, CRC. “We’ve created this program to help HIM professionals be the best analysts they possibly can be.”

Information Technology Management programs moving online
Beginning fall 2024, Anoka Tech’s Information Technology (IT) programs will be moving online.
Through Anoka Tech’s Information Technology programs, you can choose to complete an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Information Technology and specialize in five career concentration areas:
Judicial Reporting offering flexible course delivery options
Beginning fall 2024, Judicial Reporting programs will be offered in a new, flexible format which allows students to self-select how they participate in the program courses – either in-person, online synchronous, online asynchronous or some combination thereof.
