Youth Camps and Events

Anoka Tech hosts a variety of camps and events throughout the year. Event details and links to registration will be updated as it becomes available.

Engineering Machine Design Contest

Each year, student teams compete to design and build a complex machine using everyday objects with the guidance of a coach. Students are able to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles while having fun in a collaborative environment. Teams showcase and exhibit their machine at a regional contest with the opportunity to advance to the Engineering Machine Design Championship.

Nitro-X Summer Camp

Nitro-X is a summer camp presented annually by the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence in partnership with the colleges of Minnesota State, Minnesota high schools and industry partners.

Scrubs Camp

Held each summer in partnership with HealthForce Minnesota, Scrubs Camp is for students entering 9 - 12 grade who are interested in the health care or medical field. We provide a variety of hands-on workshop sessions that speak to a variety of interests.

Dates: July 9-11, 2024
Times: 9:00-3:00pm
Registration: $150 full-pay, Scholarships are available*

What's included: A pair of Scrubs, name badge, swag bag, breakfast, lunch, light snack, transportation to field trip on the last day of camp
