The State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) provides comprehensive health benefits and excellent medical and dental coverage.
This optional benefit is available to eligible employees and family members, whether you're enrolled in the state's insurance or covered elsewhere.
Minnesota State offers a mix of mandatory and voluntary retirement plans that help you save for the future.
Benefit eligible employees have the option to enroll in pre-tax accounts (flexible spending accounts) such as a Medical/Dental Expense Account (MDEA), or a Dependent Care Expense Account (DCEA).
Optional plans to protect your income and assets are available for purchase.
The state offers basic group term life insurance and the option to purchase additional coverage for the employee, spouse or dependent children.
The Employee Assistance Program provides, expert, confidential, personal consultation for concerns including financial and legal matters, relationship challenges, and personal and family problems.
Minnesota State offers a tuition waiver benefit to eligible employees which provides the cost of tuition and, in some cases, certain fees. Along with tuition waivers Anoka Technical College also offers Tuition Reimbursement and Faculty Professional Development Funds for Employees.
