The Master Academic Plan serves as a guide for important decisions concerning budget prioritizes, curriculum development, technology deployment/use, staffing and a variety of student success initiatives from 2022-2025. This plan describes the academic mission of Anoka Technical College, which is used to drive the future of the college and delineates the strategies needed to accomplish the academic mission of the college.
Strategic Plan & BRIDGES
The Master Academic Plan is built to support the colleges strategic plan and our commitment to equity.
Strategic Plan
Embedded within these goals is a commitment to quality education and student success, ultimately leading to graduation. Graduating with a degree and/or certificate benefits both career and transfer students. By graduating with a credential, students demonstrate their persistence and skills and are better prepared for the challenges of life and future studies.
BRIDGES
The Master Academic Plan is built around BRIDGES (Belongingness Restoration, Inclusion Diversity Growth, Equity, Sustainability). BRIDGES seeks to build the necessary bridges that help current and future students, employees and community members get from where they currently are professionally, academically or socially to where they would like to be. This work is ongoing and evolving. It is imperative that all levels of the college understand how they play a role in our success with BRIDGES and the colleges’ missions and visions.
